What are some details about the size of MyCn18?
- It has a diameter of 1'
-Like other planetary nebulae, MyCn18 formed when a star that was 8 times the size of the sun ran out of fuel near the end of its life, evolved into a red giant.
-it started to lose mass while expelling its outer shells.

What is MyCn18 made up of?
-MyCn18 is made up of gas formed by a Sun-like star at the end of its life.
-This Sun-like star's core is cooling down.
-This nebula is shortly going to become a white dwarf.

Interesting Facts
-MyCn18 is shaped like an hourglass, so it is better known as the Engraved Hourglass Nebula.
-This hourglass shape comes from the expansion of a fast stellar wind within a slowly expanding cloud.
